Age Limitations: No age limitations for the above posts. Refer to official notification for more details.
Educational Qualification:
- For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary with minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- For Elementary Teacher (Class 6 to 8): Candidates must have possess the qualification of Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with minimum of and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Application Fee: Application fee for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test.
- Either Paper I or II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 300/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.
- Both Paper 1 & II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 600/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.
Selection Procedure:Candidates will be selected on the basis their performance in written examination.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 45 years as on 01-07-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the required qualification as per the post requirement. For Superivisor post, candidates should be Anganwari Workers and have passed Matriculation Examination from a recognized Board of School Education.
