East Central Railway Recruitment 2014 – 422 Fitter, Mechanic
and other Vacancies: East Central Railway, Mughal Sarai Division has issued a
recruitment notification for the recruitment of Fitter Posts. Applications are
invited from ITI pass out candidates for filling up 422 Fitter, Mechanic and
other vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates
age should be between 15 years to 24 years (date of birth should be within
01-01-1990 to 01-01-1999) for General candidates and 15 years to 27 years (date
of birth should be within 01-01-1987 to 01-01-1999) for OBC candidates and 15
years to 29 years (date of birth should be within 01-01-1985 to 01-01-1999) for
SC/ ST category candidates and 15 years to 34 years for PH (UR) and 15 years to
37 years for PH (OBC) and 15 years to 39 years for PH (SC/ ST) candidates. Age
relaxation is applicable and it will be calculated as on 01-01-2014.
Educational
Qualifications: Candidates must have passed matriculation/ class 10th/ 10+2
system or equivalent recognised examination from recognized Board/ University
with not less than 50% Marks and must have ITI Degree (NCVT) in the Trades.
Application Fee: Rs.
40/- is to be paid as application fee for the above posts. Candidates will have
to buy Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.40/- payable in favour of FA & CAO,
East Central Railway/ Hajipur, payable at Patna and no fee for SC/ ST/ PH/
Ex-Serviceman/ Women candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in written test and
viva-voice tests.
How to Apply: All

are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format along with copies
of all documents/ certificates i.e Birth, Educational & Technical (ITI), Caste,
Relationship Certificate, Physically Handicapped certificate duly attested by
