Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of M.B.B.S and registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India. Candidates also should have Knowledge of Punjabi Language of and must have had this subject in Matriculation Standard or its equivalent.

Application Fee: Following should be paid as application fee by all category candidates.

• For General/ Unreserved and other candidates: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 3000; Application fee as Rs. 500 and Rs. 2500 as examination fee
• For SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates of Punjab: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 1125; Application fee as Rs. 500 and Rs. 625 as examination fee
• For Ex-Servicemen of Punjab: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 as application fee.
• For Physically Handicapped candidates: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 1750; Application fee as Rs. 500 and Rs. 1250 as examination fee

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 + NPA + Allowances.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their marks obtained in written Examination and personal Interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.

• For Medical Officer Post: MBBS from a recognized University or institution or any equivalent degree.
• For Ayurveda Medical Officers Post: BAMS from recognized University or Statutory State Board and Enrolment on State Register or Central Register of Ayurveda.
• For ANM Post: Matriculation/ 10+2 with science or its equivalent with diploma in Multi Purpose Health worker (Female)/ ANM from a recognized university or institution.
• For Staff Nurse Post: Diploma in GNM from a recognized institution, Registered with Punjab Nursing Registration Council.
• For Pharmacists Post: Qualification of B. Pharmacy/ Diploma in Pharmacy.
• For Lab Technician Post: Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) from any recognized institute.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay following amount as application fee.

• For Medical Officer Post: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 750/- while SC/ ST and BC category candidates of Punjab will have to pay Rs. 400/-.
• For Ayurveda Medical Officer Post: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 600/- while SC/ ST and BC category candidates of Punjab will have to pay Rs. 300/-.
• For Staff Nurse & Pharmacists Post: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 550/- while SC/ ST and BC category candidates of Punjab will have to pay Rs. 275/-. 
• For ANM and Lab Technician Post: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- while SC/ ST and BC category candidates of Punjab will have to pay Rs. 250/-.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination and skill tests.

For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary with minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Elementary Teacher (Class 6 to 8):  Candidates must have possess the qualification of Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with minimum of and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. 1. Either Paper I or II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 300/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.
2. Both Paper 1 & II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 600/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.
