Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 37 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have had Good academic record and possess the qualification of Master’s Degree level with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from an accredited foreign University for Assistant Professor (arts, Humanities, Science, Social Science, Commerce, Education, Languages, Law) for General Degree Colleges. Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. Rs.210/- only by Indian Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limitations: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 50 years for Professor post, 40 years for Associate Professor, 35 years for Assistant Professor posts, Research Fellow posts, 42 years for Principal posts and less than 32 years for Assistant and officer posts as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

1. For Professor Posts: Candidates should possess the qualification of B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
2. For Research Fellow/ Master Posts: Candidates must possess Master degree and Second class Honors degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
3. For Assistant Engineer: Candidates should possess Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering of a recognized University or its equivalent.
4. For Assistant Director: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Statistics or Economics or Mathematics with specialization in Statistics.
5. For Veterinary Officer: Candidates should possess qualification of Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.) or Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University/ Institute.

Application Fee: No application is required for the above posts in Kerala PSC.

Selection Procedure:Suitable candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination/ Screening test and interview. .
