BITS, Pilani, will conduct BITS
Admission Test (BITSAT) 2016, for the intake of the deserving candidates into
UG Engineering courses. The test will be held in a window, in May 2016. The
application form for the examination will be the month of December 2015 and
candidates will only be able to fill it online. The information brochure of the
BITSAT 2016 will be released soon and asap it will be available we will update
the article according to it. However, till then candidates may have a look at
information of BITSAT below. It will help in understanding the entrance
examination and it’s aspects better.
BITSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Only eligible candidates will be
allowed to write BITSAT. Ineligible candidates can also fill the form and pay
application fee but will not be allowed to write the examination. So, it is
advised that candidates check eligibility criteria, thoroughly, before applying
for the BITS 2016 entrance examination. Eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2016
are:
Candidates should have passed class
XII/equivalent exam in 2014 or 2015 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and
should have scored a minimum aggregate of 75% in it. Apart from this, in each
subject, mentioned above, candidates should have scored at least 60% marks.
Candidates who are already part of any of the
BITS campuses are NOT eligible to apply for the examination.

must fill and submit the application form of BITSAT 2016.
Steps for applying for BITSAT

Step 1: To apply for BITSAT 2016
application form, candidate need to visit the official website of BITS -
www.bitsadmission.com
Step 2: Candidates need to
register by filling mandatory details such as Name, Mobile Number, date of
birth and Email ID.
Step 3: Applicants need to login
and fill in their educational qualification and other personal details as
mentioned in the form and select their preference centre
Step 4: After filling up the form
applicants need pay their application fee online through Debit/ Credit Card/
Internet Banking.
BITSAT 2016 Exam Pattern
BITSAT is Computer based online
exam.
The paper comprises of 150
multiple choice objective type questions.
Time for the exam will be about 3
hours.
Applicant will get 3 marks for
each correct answer and 1 mark will be reduced for each wrong answer.
